As the unofficial ambassador for Movies01 to the 54th Annual Cannes Film Festival this year, I had the pleasure of spending some time with a Dutch filmmaker, Esther Rots, whose short film, "Speel met me" (Play with Me) had been selected for the official competition.

I was duly impressed with the film, and I hope to convince Esther to post her work here in the very near future.  Movies01 International!

Inroads were also made with the head of the selection committee for the Stockholm International Film Festival, Chamoun Issa; I am pursuing some sort of collaborative effort with those guys.
