After you finish watching this film, I recommend going back and looking at it one frame at a time.

Practically every frame is a work of art in itself, a blurred glimpse of a passing landscape, or an abstract pattern of light and shadow in dusty, ancient colors.

The rhythm is perfect; the images pass by fast enough to register but too quickly for your eye to ever settle on anything.  The result is a sweeping momentum, supported by the growing, haunting, ambient music.

Purely gorgeous.
