Making a movie about yourself is the hardest thing in the world to do well.  Thousands upon thousands of people have tried, and the number that have succeeded, at any length, in their career, can probably be counted on two hands.

Francois Truffaut.  Jean-Luc Godard.  Woody Allen.  Not bad company.  But then consider that one out of every two awful --truly, despicably awful-- independent feature film projects in development is somebody's life story, that they think has "universal appeal".

We've all done it.  I've done it.  But very few of us have an example to point to in which we did it well.

"Sake Bombing" isn't about anything except Ryan's thoughts and his life.  Which means there's unlimited potential for it to be bad.  But it's not bad.  It's really quite interesting, and very beautiful.
